You did think you knew more than the kit makers. You assumed (before talking to anyone) you could buy a "bigger beer" and add back the "blue moon" flavors... and bought the kit before seeking advise... But, someone told you it wasn't possible, that's when you asked for advice.

Not as experienced at buying as some but I think your answer is yes. once and a while you can get them used on CL for cheaper but this is still a great deal. can you post a link?

I'm no electrician (AT ALL) but are the hot block, neutral block, etc in the above just wire nuts? Can it be wire nuts?
Also I'd like to bypass the switch and LEDs. This is just a matter removing those wires from the diagram right?

I had bines popping out within days on my Cascade Hops. Now in less that 3 weeks I have growth on all 4 varieties. (cascade, centennial, chinook, and willamette).

I definitely vote Half Acre. I love their beers. No food on site but there is a great little restaurant kitty corner from it called Bad Apple. It has a ton of beers on tap (including obviously Half Acre).
I have 1 or 2 brand new Pin-lock Corneys for sale. They have rubber handle tops they also have the pull ring relief valve as opposed to the static relief valve. Again, brand new never used. PM me with offer.
I'm cooking down my sap right now. I just go by site/viscosity when it looks/feels like syrup it's done. It really doesn't have to be rocket science... and you'll get great syrup!
