I keep thinking to myself,i have to brew again,i Don't want to run out once i start drinking it!.I drink a lot of beer.

I started my first batch of beer eight days ago,have had another batch fermenting for three days and already spent about 600 bucks on equipment.And I'm starting another brew this week too.I'm officially hooked on this hobby!

Good thing i read this,just a week ago i did my first brew on a keggle in my kitchen.Sure enough there were no holes in the bottom lip after looking.My second brew two days ago sure had some holes drilled.

Ok,Thanks guys.Now i just need more kegs so i can brew some more beer.

I am a new brewer,Monday was my first.Today i went to my local brew store(beer on tap for customers!YaY!)and bought 3 carboys,some sanitizer and an extract kit.Anyway,the only snag i had with my first brew which really hindered sanitation was my hop strainer crapped out half way through.Turns...

When i bought my starter kit i made sure Midwest sent me two kegs also,i did not want to spend all that time washing and filling bottles.Sounds like a pain to me.

Ok,i already have a 5 gallon carboy that came with my kit.So I'm going to buy two 6.5 gallon and one 5 gallon carboy. All grain is on the way,i have a keggle now that is going to be the start.It's going to be an electric boil kettle very soon.

I just started my first brew Monday,and i need some new stuff to do a few more brews while my first is fermenting.I want to use glass carboys for all my fermenting from now on,whether or not i stick with fermenting in one vessel or decide to do a secondary.Not sure which way i want to go yet...

Ambient is 64.9,the fermenter temp is exactly(I'm a nut about taking proper temp readings)Is 65.3.They vary a few degrees either way every few hours.

FYI,It's a honey porter kit from Midwest.With Muntons dry yeast.

Ok Thanks guys.I probably am just doing what most noob brewers do.Worry too much.****it,if it is screwed up some how I'm starting a new batch tomorrow anyway.I do have two kegs to fill.

Ok,as soon as i get some sanitizer tomorrow i will take a reading.But how do i tell if it stalled,if it stays the same for a few days? And I'm reading your blog now too
