Should I cut it on half or drop all together with the MO and C90?

    Adding bourbon

Yeah. Use the search tool :) there are plenty of good threads out there

    Adding bourbon

Guess it depends on your price point and what your looking for. Devils Cut 6yo might be interesting, while Blantons original single barrel is an outstanding bourbon

    Coconut extract

This does help, and I was possibly going this way, but the last time I made this beer, it was lacking any head - pretty sure it was my fault in the priming addition. I kinda want to stay away from another headless attempt which I hear the coconut oils do...

    Adding bourbon

Also by putting them in the secondary, you can take samples and pull the chips once you get the desired oak/bourbon combo

    Adding bourbon

I would soak the chips and put them in the secondary instead. The boil might pull unwanted chemicals out of the wood.

    Coconut extract

Anyone here able to steer me in the right direction for a good coconut extract? This will be used in a brown ale that I'm looking to tweak

    Looking for Kona KoKo clone

As the title states. I've searched and haven't quite found a good KoKo clone recipe. Can someone point me in the right direction

    Samoa cookie ale

Bump Another thought. Would Kona KoKo brown be what I am looking for!?!???

    Samoa cookie ale

I did try to look for a recipe and only found one on here and nothing but threads for a brewery that did a Girl Scout cookie run

    Samoa cookie ale

I have the toasted coconut part and assume that caramel 80 would be needed, and some amount of chocolate malts/cacao nibs. What I need is some guidance on yeast/hops/any other thoughts...

    Anyone use Nocturnal select?

I have a southern brown that I'm fond of but I'm looking to tweak a bit (no real direction), and have seen this on NB. Any thoughts?

    Mango Pale Ale

Update... Dropped 1oz Amarillo on Tuesday, plan to drop 1oz citra tonight and bottle next Tuesday.

    Mango Pale Ale

It's 86 IBU's. I'm sure it's will come together just fine with the fruit and dry hops.

    Mango Pale Ale

You know...it was 5 good sized mangos peeled an cubed. I didn't take a weight so the 1# is estimated. I can't imagine it tipping anymore than 2# tops. If you go back through, I want an extra layer to this beer to compliment the citra/mosaic combo....not a beer that could be served with an...

    Mango Pale Ale

I'm using 2 more bottles for a contest now...I'm going to put two in the 20A category and two in 14B. I think this might do better in the fruit beer section after this. Maybe not....

    Mango Pale Ale

I'm expecting it to start back up from the new sugars. 3 piece is on.

    Mango Pale Ale

Pulled the trigger and quick puréed them. Beer was at 1.012. Going to rack over Sunday to secondary and dry hop with 1oz each citra, Amarillo, and mosaic. Note: citra is really showing through and beer burst with tropical notes on the nose and tongue already.
