Hey people with mini fridge kegerators... I need help with external CO2

I finished my kegerator out of my danby frigdge not long ago and was wondering if anyone here has found a good solution for running external CO2

    Need Help With Kegerator

UPDATE: I just assumed (heh... I know how it sounds...) that my fridge was the same deal as a slew of other Danby fridges that looked exactly like mine but have different model numbers. I drilled behind the light (after carefully measuring of course) but can't remember the exact measurements...

    Need Help With Kegerator

I will! I was unable to find a guide for my exact model, but I know others have done it! I might as well make a guide of some sort!

    Need Help With Kegerator

I recently picked up a Danby DAR446BSL. I have read posts of people that have converted them, however where do people get the information on where they can drill holes?

    I always get low OG

Uhh yeah I mean sparge. Autocorrect on cell phones isn't always good lol. Come to think of it, I'm not sure I stir them alot. I pour the grain into the water and usually give a couple stirs around with the mash water, but not usually when I sparge. Does the stirring really make that big of a...

    I always get low OG

If its not my water (I don't do anything special to it like adding chemicals like some brewers do) it must be something I'm doing. Last night I brewed my 6th or so all grain batch. I get my mash water to 161F, as beersmith tells me in my recipe, I then pour it into my cooler mash tun. I let it...

Where can I purchase perlick taps?

Thanks, but I can't find any towers on those 2 sites :(. I'm not sure how the whole assembly works for a project like this, but I think you need a spigot through the fridge (or 2 if I want 2 taps?) then a tower to cover the spigot(s), then the taps themselves (which I found on the links you...

Where can I purchase perlick taps?

Within a few weeks or so I'm intending on buying a danby mini fridge (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Danby-Designer-Compact-Refrigerator/5893621) from the united states, but I am not sure where the best place is for me to buy perlick taps and anything else I may need. I live near vancouver, bc, and...

Kegerator Mini Fridge and 20lb CO2

I have 2 corny kegs and a 20lb CO2 tank. I'm wondering 2 things: 1. Will a 20lb CO2 tank fit in some kind of mini fridge? 2. Has anyone made a mini fridge Kegerator that stores 2 corny kegs and a 20lb CO2 tank?

Cooler mash tun isn't turning out so well.

That's an awesome drawing. Thanks all. I finished it with minimal leaking (I really mean _minimal_). I brewed my first all-grain batch last night and the heat retention was excellent. The temperature didn't budge the whole hour.

Cooler mash tun isn't turning out so well.

Okay I removed the o ring on the outside, then I loosened it off a bit and re-applied the teflon tape. So far no leaks!! I will check back in an hour (I put some paper towel below it to see if it leaks) and I'll post back the results

Cooler mash tun isn't turning out so well.

I didn't purchase my mash tun hardware from bargain fittings, thought i probably should have. I went to plumping stores around the city today to piece something together. I found the original cooler rubber piece that is supposed to go in there, so I am re-using that now, however it's still...

Cooler mash tun isn't turning out so well.

I have started to make a cooler mash tun. Based on what I was able to buy today at several random stores, I have the following: 2 o rings 1 ball valve 1 nipple 2 washers (can't remember the name, but we will call it piece X) - 1 piece for the inside of the cooler that screws on the end...
