    Day 3: first hoppy beer of the challenge. I vaguely remember having this 10+ years ago but wasn't sure. Extremely hoppy nose but pleasantly bitter. Reminds me of a cognac or brandy. I would love to see this aged in oak. #21daybeerchallenge

    Looking for an alternative method to condition an aluminum pot.

    I have heard that you can bake it in an oven to do the same thing but with a pot that size it's not practical either. I have notice on my aluminum pot that the area above the water conditions with the steam. Maybe invert the pot over a boiling pot of water on your kitchen stove would work.

    My interpretation of a keezer

    I finally started my keezer build. I found a 7.0 cf freezer on Craigslist. I knew I wanted to use a collar so that I didn't have to drill holes into the freezer, but I also like the look of a coffin keezer. This is my melding of the two styles. Any advice/critique is more than welcome.
