    And caps I threw in a little plastic bucket with .5 ounce of iodine and let soak for 20 mins and washed off afterwards( with tap water:( )

    It was an Irish red ale and it was held at 68 degrees. And I cleaned my bottle by dumping iodine in each one and a little water and scrubbing with my bottle brush for about 15 seconds each and washing out with a bottle washer and hung on a bottle drier for about 20 minutes to dry.     Hey just tried hooking up my stc 1000 just like how you sent the link, all is working well but when we went to te cooling part it just flashed and got no juice to that outlet. The heating outlet worked when it was supposed to and shut off when it was done heating.. Any help is appreciated

    I could movie it intone closet but the temperature varies from a little below sixty to 65ish so not sure how the beer will react in that environment

    I have the bottles sitting in my room under the blanket so if I take it off then light will hit them. Do you think it's worth taking the blankets off?

    Alright thanks for the info! I just got impatient but if good beer will happen in a couple more weeks then I'll just have to force myself to leave it alone and do it's thing!

    Okay thank you, I have just heard that some don't like it cuz it adds more oxygen into the beer and increases chances of contamination. Thanks for the advice tho!

    The directions say to move the beer from te secondary fermenter to a racking bucket before bottling, I am just curious if that is the recommended way to do so or to just bottle from the secondary
