    Pin Lock vs Ball Lock

I use both and they work fine but the biggest difference i see, pin lock couplers are dummy proof where there could be a little confusion initially with the ball lock. And most importantly (IMO) they differ in size. i dont have the exact dimensions but pin lock are shorter and a bit chubbier...

    Another Foam Question

First off, thanks again for the reply's but it's time to put this thread to sleep. It was the stupid A!@# coupler/ liquid disconnect, not 1 but 2! After reading through a handful of threads i bent the dip tube in, switched picnic taps, posts, poppets, flattened my primed kegs thinking it was...

Need to Carb 4 kegs...Kegerator only holds 2!

If it matters, I have a Brown Porter, Imperial IPA, Belgian Blonde and an APA. i figure the Porter and IPA can have a lower carb level than the Blonde and APA. As for the recommendations, if i force carb at 30psi then shake, chill for a day, release pressure and adjust to 10-12psi for a 4-5...

Need to Carb 4 kegs...Kegerator only holds 2!

I've been reading about carbing at room temp so i wanted to run an idea by you folks to see if it's doable or if there are any other tips or recommendations. I'm having a little shindig in a couple weeks and would like to have 4 taps going but as i pointed out my kegerator only holds 2 kegs...

    Questions about poppets

Zeppman, I'm doing the same thing too with hopes to resolve my foam problem and am going to reconnect tonight. I'll let you know how that goes. Question, are your kegs on a single regulator and if so, does your primed keg pour noticeably slower than your other keg? Not sure if excessive...

    Questions about poppets

I have the exact same problem. I have 2 kegs on 1 gas line at 12psi. One pours fine the other all foam exactly as you described. I as well primed my keg for the first time where the keg that pours fine was not. I did read that the opposing carbonation in the beer and the pressure from the...

    Another Foam Question

Swapped the dip tubes and still pours foamy. The one thing that's confusing me is how slow the ball lock pours compared to my pin lock keg. Another piece of info that might help is i "naturally" carbed the beer with 1/2 cup priming sugar. I read that the differences between the pressure and...

    Another Foam Question

Thanks azscoob i'll give that a try. i'll swap the dip tube and see if that helps but i did use 2 different picnic taps with the same foamy results. Doubt it's ice cuz my kegerator doesnt get that cold and my other brew in the pin lock pours fine. The ball lock has a noticeably slower flow and...

    Another Foam Question

Wasup HBT, I have a ball lock corny that's pouring 90% foam and pours really slow at 12psi. I have a pin lock on the same gas line that pours just fine. I thought it was the liquid out post/poppet so i swapped it with another and i got the same result. nothing is blocking the dip tube so not...
