Perhaps make the king of hearts the main picture in the first one? Since its your brewery name. Sorta make it the focus of the label and use it as your brewery logo. Or maybe some variation on the king of hearts.

Nice to know I'm not the only person who thought this. I didn't think I did that bad a job cleaning the bottles. Mind if I ask which yeast has given you the sweetest results so far?

Actually I'm starting to think the aftertaste might be my own fault. I had a couple of bottles that only received a quick wash because I miscounted when washing the rest. I suspect that a few of the bottles still had some sorta beery crud clinging to the inside of the bottle despite looking clean.

I bottled my cider about 3 weeks ago. Very slow to carb. One thing I thought was weird is that it has a beer-like after taste. I'm using safale s-04, has anyone else noticed anything similar? I'm wondering if I maybe just didn't wash out my bottles properly.

I've had a couple of batches appear to take a few days for the airlock to bubble. I'd say give it a little time before you worry too much.

Yeah I would certainly steer clear of real bacon as mentioned above. I knew a guy who made bacon vodka once, it smelled like rancid bacon fat after a day or 2.
