FT: FBS, Pliny, Heady Topper, ******* Brew, 120 ISO: ???

I'm looking for ******* Brew and Heady Topper. Do you have access to Firestone Walker or Odell? Firestone Walker's Double Double Barrel Ale is pretty great, and Odell has some really good offerings as well. Let me know if there's anything else you're looking for.

I got my hands on some even fresher Pliny, bottled 9/10/12. I'm willing to trade for anything we don't have access to out here (Three Floyds, Bell's, maybe some others). I'm also trying to get some ******* Brew. Let me know what you have.

    Autumn Seasonal Beer Punkin' Ale

Quick question for everyone... Brewed 20 gallons of this a week ago and our mash temp dropped to the 152-153 range after adding the pumpkin. Now it's around 1.012 and there's still a little bit of airlock activity and I'm guessing it may drop to 1.010. The sample tasted dry and was a little...

    Autumn Seasonal Beer Punkin' Ale

Thanks for the recipe Reno. We've been brewing a Pumpkin Ale every year and this year I thought I'd give your recipe a try after all the rave reviews. So I brewed 20 gallons yesterday. I substituted our own toasted 2-row for the Victory malt and added a bit of Munich. I didn't use any rice...

    GABF ticket purchasing

I know a lot of people who only buy an AHA membership for the Saturday members only session at GABF. This is sad.

    GABF ticket purchasing

No kidding. Someone got caught with their pants down.

    GABF ticket purchasing

Just got off the phone with Ticketmaster. They said they are experiencing issues, but they will not be selling them over the phone. They expect it to be working again in 10-15 mins. They said to keep trying.

    GABF ticket purchasing

It's not working for me either. I've been on hold for 15 mins. so I'm guessing it's a system wide outage.

    Weekend Brutus!

Where did you get the stainless flexible hoses for the burners? I need that exact part and haven't had luck at Lowe's or HD.

    Autumn Seasonal Beer Punkin' Ale

We brewed 20 gallons of this recipe today (better late than never, right?). Used 8 large cans of Libby's, which is 14.5 lbs. of pumpkin. Also, we used home toasted malt instead of Victory malt and used Cascade for the aroma hops instead of Hallertauer (only had 4 oz. left of Hallertauer and...

    The MaxOut Brew Station

What insulation did you use on the temperature sensor cables? It looks like mesh/fiberglass but I'm curious where you sourced it. We are having some heat issues with our sensors and other wiring, so I'm looking for something to protect it from the heat.

    30 gallon mash tun help

Funny you bring this up. I just converted that exact cooler (120 qt Coleman Xtreme) for a group brew our homebrew club did this past weekend. I also got it at Wal-Mart for $50. I used a 3/4" braided stainless water heater supply hose from Lowe's for $10 and the bulkhead fitting from Wayne at...

Questions about March Pumps answered by the Factory!

I'll try drilling out the impeller with a 17/64" drill bit tonight for a brew day tomorrow and see if that fixes it. Could it be related to the larger impeller? I'm also using one of the Chugger stainless heads, could that be causing any problems? Thanks for all your help.

Questions about March Pumps answered by the Factory!

No air, the system was fully primed using a bleeder valve. Outlet is oriented to the right, so still the highest point. All hoses and fittings are 1/2" ID. What would cause the impeller to stop spinning when liquid is still flowing?
