I would give it a shot, pour one out into a glass and check the smell and look for chunks and really bad cloudiness in the liquid. IF it smells bad and looks like cottage cheese or something, chuck it.

If they do kill you be sure to reply back :) I'm really interested the flavor after 25 years. Does he remember what type of beer they are?

Most of mine are commercial ones I have drank already. I soak them hot water and use a plastic pot scraper to remove the old lable. Then use a green scrubby to get the remaining glue off. Rinse well and sanitize. I then put themvon my bottle tree until Im ready to use them. Dont use clear glass...

With my floor corker my corks rest about a 16th below the lip of the bottle. Should it be flush? Can someone here explain bottleneck seating? why or why not?
