    3/8 Tubing Quick Disconnect

I'm looking for 3/8 tubing quick disconnects. The tubing goes from my glycol chiller to my fermenter coil barbs. Its a pain to disconnect the tubing when fermentation is done. I tried some twist qd from more beer.com but the tubing I have can't twist. I need something with a swivel nut...

In for a penny, in for a pound. Go for the glycol or get a full size freezer that will fit the conical.

    FTSs Brewtech Glycol Chiller

i travel for work often gone a week or more at a time. Ice chest was not going to work. I don't know maybe if I had to do it all over again maybe carboys and chest freezers would have been less fuss and less cost. Once you are in for the ssbrewtech conical you are in for a fermentation...

How to get DME into Erlenmeyer flask without making a mess?

I use a 2000ml flask for yeast starters and always have a challenge getting dme into it after the boil. I boil with it right on the stove. Any tips? Is there a good funnel to fit then?

Secondary container for lagering that uses glycol

I'm looking for some suggestions on a secondary container I can mature lager in. I am invested in SSBrewTech and have the glycol system. I want to be able to do a long lagering maturation without tying up my fermenter. I have a beer fridge but it is at 40. I could keg the beer and just store...

SS Brewtech FTSS pump/heater and power barrel jack size?

Thanks! I heard back from ss brewtech and they are standard jacks. I'll share my plan for a custom controller. I know there are other projects out there but really want to build my own controller and write the algorithm. I'm going to use particle photon as the core controller. The brewtech...

SS Brewtech FTSS pump/heater and power barrel jack size?

I'm building a custom fermentation controller using particle photon to replace my FTSS. I want to reuse the power supply and heater/pump without cutting wires. Any chance anyone knows what size barrel jacks they are??

SS BrewTech FTSS Barrel Jack Size (I'm building a custom controller)

I'm building a custom controller to replace my FTSS controller and want to use the existing power supply, pump and heater without cutting any wires. If you're interested in details, its Particle Photon based and will allow me to fully control and monitor my fermentation over the net. I'm...

    Kegerator and line balancing questions

I have the same length lines in my fridge (5ft) with these flow control taps. https://www.morebeer.com/products/intertap-sealing-stainless-flow-control-faucet.html This works pretty well for me but might be worth looking into my line lengths. This is what I love about home brewing. There is...

    Kegerator and line balancing questions

So 12 foot of line for 12 psi? I run about 5 foot but have flow control on my taps. I do find my pours a bit foamy and wondering if I need longer lines

    Kegerator and line balancing questions

Id also like to move my tank outside but reluctant. If I were to do it is probably try to make a home in the back. Check out these links https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=co2+keg+outside&&view=detail&mid=134B9BC2AD235448118B134B9BC2AD235448118B&FORM=VRDGAR...

    Kegerator and line balancing questions

Do not drill through the sides. I wasted a nearly 1000 fridge adding taps to the side and I was careful and still hit a line.

Am I batch sparging when I vorlauf for extended time

I usually recirculate with a pump for 5 minutes to vorlauf before going into the kettle and starting to fly sparge. I got to thinking today that 5 minutes is probably a long time to vorlauf and was wondering if I am actually batch sparging. What do you think?
