Nice little compact and portable $199 brew stand

If nothing else it seems like a great idea for a build. I like how it folds up compact.

    Happiness is: Home malting

And I thought that going all grain was as close to doing it all yourself you could get. Very cool, I hope it turns out well!

    How do you find beers?

I was in Spokane last weekend and my wife made me go to this store called Cost Plus World Market. They furniture and stuff, pretty boring really. But as I was wandering around I saw some wine, then beer, and good beer too. They had 60 minute and 90 minute dogfish head. I don't recall seeing 120...

They seem to be pretty thin, guess I'll find out how it works soon. and denny can you explain how angling the slots would help the flow? Pics of my 48qt Cooler MLT I just built

Just built this 48qt Rubbermaid Cooler MLT using CPVC and CPVC Cement. Had the cooler laying around already and spent ~$20 on the rest of the supplies. Can't wait to try it out, I have some grain on order. This will be my first attempt at all grain and I'm excited. This stuff was all built with...

    Epoxy and brewing...

I was able to get cpvc cement to adhere to it for my cooler mlt. And some epoxies such as JB weld are advertised as non-toxic...I don't think it would bother me to use it, but some are more paranoid

What's your favorite type of bottle?

Sam Adams are my main 12oz bottles, I have some random 16.9oz bottles and 12 22oz bottles. I just scored some more 22oz and a few 32oz off of craigslist for free the other day. I prefer the 22oz bottles because when I say I'm having one beer I get a bit more out of it :)

Will the taste of this improve? :(

Let it condition. After trying my first brew after 5 days of bottle conditioning (it is so hard to wait, i know) it tasted awful. Now two weeks later it's pretty darn good. I'm hoping my next batch that is fermenting will be better, but I am not disappointed. I know it's tough, but give it time.
