large air gaps in beer lines

Hey guys, So ive done some research tested a few things and nothing seems to work! The beer on tap is a amber lager. Usually the blond lager I get from the same brewery is perfect with a slight fast pour with a 5ft beer line at 12psi. temps at 37F This amber lager ive gotten I...

3 door bev air kegerator build tips / opinions / ideas

Hey guys, So I am ditching my 1 tap through the door kegerator as I picked up a 3 door bev air unit. I have a commercial triple tap tower that came with a drip sink / cup rinser set up. My plan is to build EVENTUALLY a 2 tier wet bar around the fridge, the bar will be a max of around 10ft...

Bev air BB72 interior clean up / kegerator

Hey guys, So I recently bought a bev air BB72 3 door unit for 350bucks and doing a good clean up on it. Couple things. What could I use to do a good clean up of the rusted spots inside? I used a few of those green / yellow sponges with some cleaner / disinfectant stuff to give it a...

Can't get bubbles out of beer line

As for checking the beer line with the higher psi... I also had to run my beer through. the bubbles that where already formed in the line didnt disappear for me when I did it, once I ran the tap with "fresh" brew is when I noticed it didnt separate anymore. I'd try that but I think these guys...

Can't get bubbles out of beer line

These posters bring up alot of good possibilities no doubt! However I don't personally believe temp variance should effect the beer line co2 separation, the beer line is always 100% full and kept under pressure which will keep the beer "together" not foam and or have bubbles inside the line...

Can't get bubbles out of beer line

I dont have any experience with home brew, cold crashing and all that. Ive just had personal experience trying different styles of microbrew beers through a 1 tap system, Needless to say, every type of beer ive tried has wanted a little bit of a different serving pressure then others. What...

Can't get bubbles out of beer line

well.. from my personal experience, bubbles in the beer line is the carbonation separating and to fix that you need increase the pressure. Considering you are carbonating the beer yourself and mentioned it tasted flat I will scratch out the idea of it being over carbed. in my opinion I would...

Beverage air 3 door solid door unit

Thanks for the reply! From the sounds of it, its right in line with what a chest freezer and or regular fridge would run at, maybe a hint more but nothing that would be overly noticeable. Anyone have opinions on these VS my other options such as using a Keezer. Other then the issue of...

Beverage air 3 door solid door unit

So ive been looking at buying a under the counter bar fridge that would accommodate 2-3 half barrels. My question is.... how reliable are these compered to a regular fridge and or Keezer that would fit 2-3 half barrels. Ive done some research but didnt really come across much that I...

Beer Line Length and Pressure Calculator

posted for future reference also I just did a quick test and for the beers I have ran red / brown lager the calculations where more so spot on to what I needed to run! The only off measurement I seem to have found was for the cream ale I had, the c02 was separating at 14 psi once I upped...

    Portable igloo cooler kegerator

Far from that mentality... both will need "modifications" to work... I have a 5gal corny keg... not 3gal kegs that fit right in the cooler... so I would have to cut a hole in the cooler and buy another 2gal or 5gal water cooler to go ontop of it and make it seal. I posted in here because I...

    Portable igloo cooler kegerator

Yeap from Canada... and yea tell me about it... its pretty sad that we can purchase stuff from the US, cover the cost of the conversion + pay outrageous shipping costs and still end up ahead vs buying local most of the time. Yea I was looking at bottling then I remembered why I stopped...

    Portable igloo cooler kegerator

If I could get my hands on another corny for cheap definitely... but those 70+ qt coolers are starting in the 100$ range and up around here from the looks of it i'd still need to buy the "top" section to make it sealed. Only thing Im not sure how it will do camping is that more often then...

    Portable igloo cooler kegerator

haha... either way... both need "work" 1 will offer more much more cooling and ice capacity vs the other, the igloo 70qt cooler would be the best option but the price tag on just that cooler at the moment are a little over priced. Big issue for when i go camping there's nothing for hours...

    Portable igloo cooler kegerator

alright... so been shoping around and trying to see if this would work before dropping $$ on it... let me know your ideas... a can get a plastic bin dimensions 17½ d x 15 w x 26¾ h" which is pretty well exactly what you need to 1 corny keg in it. I was thinking on using an expanding...

Hey guys and gals... So I picked up a used sanke D corny keg and somewhat curious on a few things on it! 1st the spear assembly didn't come with one of those spiral rings it came with a snap ring minus the "ears" for the snap ring plyers. The body of the keg didnt even have a...
