tiles on a counter top kegerator

Hey guys, I want to do something with the top of my kegerator to give it a more finished look. I was looking at maybe doing "stick on" tiles but i'll be running into a couple issues... the current top has screw heads and caps that make the top of my kegerator "uneven" I was thinking...

yea ill be reposting those links shortley not working too well haha yea perls would be nice but the disposables will suffice until funds come around, only 2 of the taps will be in use, right now the middle one is just installed to have that finished look. so hopefully the open tube I...

Bev air unit with water inside the floor

so far my plan is... drain water best I can, keep running dehumidifier inside it for about a week. Buy some of those eva dry 500 wireless dehumidifiers as after doing a bit of reading a few people have gone that route and say it works. I figure 2 of them in there at all times should be...

Bev air unit with water inside the floor

Yea possibly, I have noticed more condensation then usual but it doesnt help its been a hot summer and it seems to help when I run the dehumidifier in the same room as the fridge. I also read that they sell dehumidifying substances you can add in these fridges which I will look at. Its just...

Bev air unit with water inside the floor

yea what I was htinking later on will cause some issues esp with molding ect... Ill have to drill a hole drain what I can but not sure how I would go about actually drying out the inside. its fully sealed I dont see any way of taking it apart to fix it without doing any kind of "major" work

    PVC Tower Cooling Solution

Jbone, good question! I think you're going to be pretty limited seeing you have limited room to run that many copper lenghts... Maybe your best bet is to insulate the lines with a couple cooper lenghts vs running them inside. Heres what ive done so far, well see if it works out as I...

Bev air unit with water inside the floor

Hey guys, So i got a BB72 3 door model bev air and I noticed when I leaned inside while doing some work on it when I pressed down on the flooring I saw water come up from a few pin holes. Considering that much water is coming up i'd imagine that it means its FULL of water inbetween the...

beer tower install on bev air

so finally got around to installing my tower..... hopefully it works out... 2.5 hole was needed to fit all 3 insulated copper pipes i tin tapped enough insulation that it fits snug inside the drillled hole. i used some outdoor caulking all around the inside of the hole then wrapped hole...

    Commercial Kegerator Noise level

I was concerned about my bev air BB72 unit.. identical to the one you linked... Here is a video I found when I was a bit worried about mine and how noisy it was. You can definitely hear the evap fan even when its all closed... Not my unit but has the same style of evap fan...

    Portable igloo cooler kegerator

while i do agree a jockey box is easier, I dont know if I would trust the kegs sitting out in the heat over a weekend, I would think you would still need some sort of "cooler" to keep the kegs out of the sun and heat. Especially if you plan on bringing any left over beer left if there's any and...

    Portable igloo cooler kegerator

awesome! not bad at all! 40lbs of ice.. I need to get myself an ice machine or something if I invest in something that size lol

    Portable igloo cooler kegerator

awesome pretty well same idea! i thought of just using an old not working freezer to save most of the fab work. any idea how much it roughly weights?

    Portable igloo cooler kegerator

oh it would heavy as all hell with the kegs in there you would need to instal some solid handles and what not to move it but i figure if your going camping with that much beer usually your not alone. strapping a cart to it to lug it to its spot would work well would just be a matter of...

    Portable igloo cooler kegerator

for guys wanting to transport larger volume of beer... has anyone measured out a small 5 cubic ft chest freezer to fit a couple corneys or even a half barrel? (nothing would stop you from adding a collar for added room if its not tall enough. I'd imagine finding a used old one isnt that...

beer tower install on bev air

ideally though... copper should hold / conduct the temp it comes in contact with.... while my fridge is set at 38F LIQUID temp (air temp would be a little colder) The only difference I see in most of these builds to mine is most of them do not have a fan that is pushing cold air constantly...

beer tower install on bev air

Yea I am curious myself as to how well it will work. 1st time doing it so im only going with what ive read and seen. For now though I am only using 2 of the 3 taps, 1 of the copper lengths (in this case it will be the middle tap) will be "vacant" but nothing is going to be directly blowing...

beer tower install on bev air

So I got the beer line "cooler" insulated and wrapped in tin tape. Looks like ill be able to fit that tightly in a 2.5" pvc pipe so should work out well if I can find a bit that will drill large enough to fit that size of pipe snug inside the hole and make a tight seal.

beer tower install on bev air

yea... the hole will be a mm or so smaller then the pvc or same size so the pvc slips in tightly.... (the pvc will be 7/8 to 1/4 smaller then the tower ontop of that. so should have plenty of room. goal is to do it as clean as possible without doing anything too nasty to the tower or fridge...
