    NEW BELGIUM BOTTLES. defected?

    ya i mean i can scratch it with my fingernail and feel an obvious hairline indention, and run my fingernail down it like a track. some are longer and run for a couple inches some shorter. it seems more of a fracture than a crack, but most of the bottles have it so idk if they are safe to re use...

    I got a 6 pack of fat tire, and after i finished them i was inspecting the bottles, and 4 of 6 have random hairline "indentions", i dont know if i should call them cracks or not. it kind of seems like they do not go all the way through. anyone else know about this? are the bottles still useable...

    Should I chill my CO2 Bottle first?

    i dont think you need to chill it... c02 is freakin cold when released anyways...ever seen the bottles frost up when co2 gets let outta the tank? thats my reasoning

    keg question(s)

    I looked around and couldnt really find a clear answer to this exact question. I know that conditioning is faster in 70 deg temps as opposed to cold conditioning. So would it be wise to cold crash my brew in the carboy for a couple days, then keg it and leave at 70 degree temps for a few weeks...

    question about honey, and some general advice needed

    wow thanks for all the fast replies. i sold my mr.beer to a friend today and im just gonna go ahead and get a carboy so i can make my whole 5 gallon batch...should i get a 6.5 gallon or just a 5?
