    Raffy

With my position already stated that I agree with the stricter penalties and ban from the HOF, let me state the only counter-argument I can possibly sympathize with. At the time, there was no real policy against. Therefore, it is tough to retroactively ban someone from the Hall of Fame, since...

    Raffy

So, what do you all think about Rafael Palmeiro? Just looking at the numbers he has are pretty convincing in of themself. I never believed him when he stated in front of congress he had never used steroids. Honestly, as much as Canseco may have 'extended' the truth, I believe a lot of what...

    Dogfish Head

Traffic actually was not as bad as I thought it would be. I stayed at this place called Bedazzled. Very nice, room was decorated with lots of Humphrey Bogart pictures. Guess they named all their rooms after 40's actors.

    Racking Mistake

I have several small ones, unfortunately only the one large. Does anyone think that racking twice might aerate the brew too much and effect it?

    Racking Mistake

So, here I am finished racking my Choc Raspberry Porter into the secondary.... I go to plug the carboy, and I guess it was still wet and when I plugged it, it pushed all the way in... I tried to pull it back, but in the process the plug fell into the beer. It was sanitized so I was not too...

    Dogfish Head

IT's a GREAT place to spend a weekend. It's a very nice beach community. The streets around the beach are lined with lots of nice little shops, and plenty of interesting and good restaurants. There is also a pretty nice boardwalk. As for places to stay, we stayed in a Bed & Breakfast. But...

    Dogfish Head

Just got back from a weekend in Rehoboth. For those of you on the east coast (or wherever actually) you honewstly have to go at least once. The trip to the Dogfish Head brewery was just good enough to make the drive. I had a very good burger, and we got the beer sampler. Although I have had...

    Milk Stout

Looks like they have a distributor in Virginia. Anyone know any place in NOVA that I could pick some up?

    Milk Stout

Thanks for splitting the post. The beer definately sounds interesting. What are your plans for it? AG? Yeast? Hops? I look forward to hearing how this one will come out.

    Hop Aroma Pellets

Interesting, anyone on here ever used these? I think I would rather just add some flowers into the secondary.

    My HomeBrew Site

Good point. I have been speaking with the Admin, and trying to gather my ideas. I will be away this weekend, but plan to start putting this project together on Monday. I definately want to build this outside of vBulletin, but tie it in with the logins. Also, we could tinker some of the...

    Hi from England

Sorry it was a joke, maybe i should have layered some more wit into that one. I'll try harder next time.

It would scare me if the bottle were empty and I had none left.

    Homebrew Beer Labels

Much better that way. I invite different friends over to help (they like feeling involved), but it is just me brewing, then I get to use all my own ideas and cater to my tastes, friends just sit there and say "oooooo..... watch the beer boil"

    9000 year old beer recipe

I certainly plan to ask them at Brew in the Zoo.

    Milk Stout

What is a milk stout? Not familiar with the style, can you explain?

    First Brew went well!

I would suggest putting them in the dishwasher the morning of bottling. No need to do them now and let them sit. And do NOT use detergent. The soap residue will DESTROY your beer's head. NO DETERGENT! The heat from the dishwasher is plenty enough to sanitize the bottles and kill off any...
