Different terms for the same LME?

Thanks, Tipsy, I was poking around and realised that Norther Brewers Gold LME is proprietary. (as far as I can tell it is a blend of light and something else.)

Different terms for the same LME?

It is actually Northern Brewer. The recipe I am attempting to put together calls for 6.3 pnds of Gold Malt Syrup. AND a pound of Golden Light DME. ( THe DME is not a late addition, full 60 min boil...) Thanks for the advice so far

Different terms for the same LME?

I am looking to buy larger than 3 pound amount of LME for a few brews that I have planned. I am really green in this dept, but some online sites call a variety of LME "Gold" I have not seen this variety in other brand names. WHat is it equivalent to? or is it proprietary?

What Sanitisers and Cleaners are used.

When using star-san does everyone just make the 5 gallon batch? I am just starting up brewing. I bought the bigger than God intended bottle of star san that has the small chamber marked at 1/2 oz and 1 oz. I would like to make a smaller than 2.5 gallon batch of it for smaller jobs.
