The upgrade version of STC-1000: Fahrenheit Display, More Easy Setting

I agree, they might not be flashing them more likely factory built. But that said they most likely had to supply the firmware our at least the firmware parameters to the manufacturer. It should be easy to have them use the stc-1000+, or build something similar/the same for them.

The upgrade version of STC-1000: Fahrenheit Display, More Easy Setting

This seems like it would be a necessity for lots of us. If you're taking the time to flash these to give degrees F functionality might as well be adding the profile functionality at the same time. For the price I'd love to get one if it had this as I am currently gathering parts for my ferm...

Peanut Butter Cup Porter - Looking For Quick Critique/Input

It was northern brewers Baltic porter recipe as the base. Yes 5gal. The pb2 wasn't subdued, just didn't end up tasting like pb, more like plain roasted peanuts.

Peanut Butter Cup Porter - Looking For Quick Critique/Input

I've made a couple attempts at a PB cup porter, using pb2. My first with 1lb at 10min and 1lb in secondary. Minimal pb flavor, nearly non palatable. My second I decided to really go for it with the pb2, 1lb at 30 min, 1 at 10 min, 1 at flameout, and 2 in secondary, for a total of 5lbs. Very...

2 year old mead. What to do?

Hey if it tastes good, then it can't really be bad

2 year old mead. What to do?

I would rack it off the yeast, and give it a taste before doing anything drastic like dumping it

Anyone brew 5 gallon batches on your kitchen stove?

I've done nearly 100 batches on my glass ceramic cook top, using an 8 gal aluminum tamale steamer. On the largest burner (14in I believe) at full heat I get 6.5 gal of wort to boil in 45min. As far as boil overs, we all have one every now and then, I've found the glass cook top easy to get clean...

Bottled and put in fridge...can I save it?

You also may want to gentle flip the bottles over and back a couple times just to make sure the sugar is fully in suspension

    Low bucks motorized grain mill

One last thing, are all the ground leads necessary or would one per 12v lead be good, my supply has more than double the grounds than 12v leads.

    Low bucks motorized grain mill

So I received all the parts just need to build a cabinet to mount everything on. Getting the power supply setup and am wondering if anyone who has finished theirs could post a pic of how they wired to the motor,I can't seem to fit two wire connectors on the two terminal spades without them...

    Grain Mill!

Buy something like a cereal killer, they are among if not the cheapest mills but still do a great job. Should last you plenty long enough till you decide you may want to drop the cash for a high end mill.

    Serving cocktails from a keg?

I think this sounds like a great idea, the small amount of carbonation would probably make the drinks a bit more refreshing and aromatic! Might be a tad more difficult to clean but nothing a good pbw soak or keg washer wouldn't take care of. I might just have to try this myself this summer. Also...

Fraoch Ale ( Heather Ale) recipe please

https://distantmirror.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/highland-heather-ale-recipe1.jpg I brewed this a couple years ago, came out good. Earthy, floral, if I did it again I would use less peated malt as it was a bit dominant.
