Yeah, pretty much.. my problem is the container I was using to vorlauf would not fit into my keggle so I had to pour with some distance. That was disturbing the grain I think. The foil just dispersed it a bit. The idea about the bowl is a good one too =)

Hole saw is by far the easiest method for this application. Last time I drilled a hole in a refrigerator door, I think it took all of 10 seconds =)

I agree 100%. Also, there was a group buy a little while back on perlick faucets for a good price. I am not sure they were a whole lot cheaper then what AHS or Kegconnection have them at.

Hahaha! I saw this thread and thought "fat tire!" I really like some of their other beers, but that one just doesn't do it for me. There is a sweet funk to it that I cannot place my finger on. I try it again every now and again... one is OK but I cant have more then that.
