I tried the 1-2-3 method but it ended up going more like 4 days 1 week then another week -- now im at the "my beer tastes like crap, do i still have to wait" stage :) . Trying to be patient with your fist few batches is tough.

Im not in Canada, but im still a firm beleiver we should be ;) . There is a place in Taylor, MI called Adventures in homebrew - prolly only a half hour drive for you Depending on how close to the bridge you are.. And you will be able to tell the cusoms agent that you dont have any alchahol :D

I "sampled" what i pulled to test the SG and it tastes darn good. now to debate on the keg or bottle....

has anyone seen this "whirlpool chiller" concept? http://www.mrmalty.com/chiller.phpit looks real nice - as im shure a small pump is cheaper than buying a counterflow if you have a immersion chiller.
