    Keg Conditioning Question

    Im a noob but I just hook it up to co2 then let it cool to 35..I think the sooner you drink the better hop aroma so I force carbonate. I do this by unhooking the co2 and rolling the keg on the floor. Then hooking it back up and repete a few times. Then wait a day to settle. Just did it tonight...

    Nice can't wait. Next time I'll probably do a five gallon batch if it turns out good. Racked to secondary after about two weeks. Now how long before I bottle? It's starting to clear nicely.

    parti gyle brewing !!?

    So my last brew was a stout with a og of 1.070. But also went back to my mash and batch sparged for a second time and got about three more gallons of wort. I then boiled that as new smaller beer with some corn sugar to boost gravity. I got a og of 1.050. I then used this as my first lager...

    I'm new to brewing. Just started brewing last spring. I want to make a high gravity beer. So my thoughts after reading some things on parti gyle brewing is that maybe I could do a normal grain bill for a 5 gallon batch. Extract about two gallons off mash and boil off to create a high gravity one...

    Dry hops in the carboy and in the keg?

    I did this with an IPA. Added an oz to the secondary along with some oak chips. Then added another oz in the keg in a mesh hop bag. Turned out great. Just finished off the keg the other day. Hops still smelled good when I pulled them out to clean.

    Danebramaged Brewery Hopefully no one has that yet. Not many people named Dane brewing. Hopefully going to start brewing some high % beers that will give you brain damage.

    Going to start my first cider today. Bought a gallon of apple juice at the farmers market. And have some lavlin 1118 yeast.
