    10 gallon aluminum kettle

    I want to move from my 7.5 gallon brew pot to a 10 gallon pot. I can get a Thunder Group aluminum pot and lid from tigerchef.com for $41.32 shipped. Does anyone know of any better deals than that?

    That does help, thanks. I guess I just need to figure out how much water I can get in the kettle along with the grain so that it doesn't overflow.

    After some Googling there have been other broken haulers. So I don't think it is isolated. Keeping a close eye on mine.

    I'm doing my first all grain brew and have only ever done extracts. If my math is correct I should have a total of 10lbs 4oz of grain. 9 lbs. Domestic 2-Row barley, 4 oz. Special B, 12 oz., Caramel 40L, 4 oz. Roasted Barley Can someone point me in the direction of an online calculator...

    Busted stitching. I wonder what kind of thread they use to stitch the nylon. Cotton can break down over time when exposed to acid. Nylon and other plastic based materials will eventually break down when exposed to UV. I am going to check mine tonight.

    I dump the whole nasty thing in there. It settles out during fermentation and then when I cold crash it it's all at the bottom anyway.

    Transporting Fermented Wort in a Car

    My first two beers I drove an hour the day after I brewed it while it was fermenting. I didn't have my own burner and kettle yet. Both turned out great.
