I assume, you're not a mathematician? :D Let me get that for you: Each game is won by the point differential your team scores for each and every game. Let me draw a simple scenario for you: TEAM A: game 1: W 100-99 game 2: W 100-99 game 3: W 100-99 Total: W-L 3-0 score: 300-297 TEAM B...

It uses point differential for calculating your rank. It's not a bad way to do it. Over a whole season it's probably a better indicator of your team's worth rather than its sheer score.
