No problem. Start with 1/2 a pound and taste it. Lactose is not sweet at all. It's mostly there for mouthfeel. For (flavorless) mouthfeel I use about 10% oat malt. But any kind of processed oats will work too. PS I've never used lactose in an oatmeal stout. It's traditionally a sweet stout...

Yay, 2 game losing streak. My slow descent continues. I have two issues: 1) I can't choose a decent starting lineup to save my life. 2) Waiver wire is killing me. Having been 18-20th in line since the beginningof the season has really killed me.
