Anyone know if this could be of any use in homebrewing?

I wouldn't use the hose with anything I would eat or drink. If it cleaned up real well I would use it, depending on what is in it now. Notice the auction listing is from a restaurant? I wouldn't freak out about the "chemical mixer" name. Ethanol is a chemical after all.

    2.5 Gallon Keg System Recommendations

I am looking in to getting a similar set up. If you can put a hole in your fridge you can keep a bigger CO2 tank outside. That wasn't an option in my case, had to go with a 2.5 pound CO2 tank, it will cost nearly as much to refill as a 5 pound tank. Most of the charge is for the labor of...

Rubber faucet cover or brush/ plug combo?

Do you use the rubber faucet covers or the combo brush and plug deals? Or do you leave your taps uncovered when not in use? Seems like keeping them covered makes sense. I just wanted to hear from people who had used one or the other (or both).

Can you use Guinness Gas with hard apple cider.

I think these are my regulators: Micro Mark Nitrogen Regulator It looks like I should be able to put a socket and breaker bar on the end of the CGA 580 fitting and remove and replace it with a CGA 320 if the need should arise. BTW both Primary connections (the input from the tank and the output...

Can you use Guinness Gas with hard apple cider.

The saga of my Facebook marketplace deal continues... The tanks that came with all the other stuff are labeled for Nitrogen / CO2 mix. Turns out they still have gas in them as well. I don't know how much, I need to look around for a tare weight and then weigh them. Is there any use for 75%...

They make labels, coasters, stickers and all sorts of things. Just the thing if you have a logo and a name for your "brewery". I don't know if you have to pay shipping, don't know anything about the quality of the products. I just saw the offer of $250 worth of custom printing and thought I...

Is this a forward sealing tap?

Anyone have experince with these kind of taps? Ali Express It doesn't look like a normal rear sealer yet it doesn't look like a forward sealing Perlick either. I am in need of this kind of set up and that is a great price for a stainless steel flow control faucet. However from reading the...

    floating keg tube

Can you use a gas dip tube to connect to the floating tube or are they diffrent diameters? If you can I will just buy an extra gas tube rather than cut the long liquid tube that came with the keg. My plan is to brew in a 5 gal keg that wont fit in my fridge and then transfer to a 2.5 gal keg...

Anyone use a paintball CO2 tank?

What adapter did you use? Can you use a normal (full sized) regulator? Are some tanks more suited for this than others? I am asking because I see a lot of different adapters and would like to buy one that actually works the first time. Thanks.

Final Sale! If you scroll down a bit you will find it They only have one. Perlick sells them for $79 and up. They quoted me $20 for shipping that would have made the total $40. More than I am willing to pay but I thought it might be worth $40 to someone on here. I have never dealt with that...

    Skeeter Pee

Thanks! I usually use champagne yeast in the cider so it would probably be ok. One of the YouTube channels that got me in to homebrewing, City Steading, tried to reuse yeast and did not have any luck with it. I guess I will have to try it on my own and see what happens.

    Skeeter Pee

I am a newb and am dumb. Is yeast slurry the little bit of whatever you brewed and the yeast that is at the bottom of whatever container you fermented in? I have just been throwing that away. I have been making cider. If I poured fresh apple juice over the left over slurry from the previous...
