    Name for fermented Lemonade

I started in February I think it was. I kept thinking about making my own cider since it is so expensive. I started watching some videos on YouTube and I thought "It can't possibly be that simple." Turns out it is. I haven't cloned Woodchuck original yet (that's my goal) but every batch has...

    Cider made with Distillers Yeast

A few months ago I looked all around on the internet for info about using distillers yeast (DADY) to make apple cider. I came up with nothing. I was ordering a keg anyway so I ordered a pound of Red Star DADY. The first batch is finished and I am drinking it now. It tastes fine to me. It...

    Name for fermented Lemonade

What makes me hesitant is the whole start with used yeast thing. There just is so much variability there I figure I will screw it up. Plus as of yet all I am making is apple cider and I don't know if used cider yeast (I usually use champagne yeast) would work. I see the way you make it you...

    Name for fermented Lemonade

Looks like starting with a prefab lemonade is much easier than the original recipe that has you start with lemon juice. With its high acidity lemon juice is tricky to get to ferment. Has anyone just started with a sugar water wash and fermented it to get the alcohol and then flavored it with...

    Pneumatic Bottle Capper - Just...because.

Love this thread. SDBob are you still alive? Did it ever work? I checked out your channel on YouTube and never saw a video of it working. Is this a painful experience you just don't want to talk about anymore? BTW I also love AvE's videos. He is like a vulgar Red Green whose projects work.

Anyone else overwelmed by the amount of hops in IPAs and NEIPAs?

The hop arms race reminds me a lot of what I call "spice inflation" in hot sauces. I used to love Buffalo wings. I never get them anymore becase many place's mild is way hotter than their hot was 15 years ago. If you are someone who enjoys suffering though the hottest sauce you can handle, this...

    Cheap tap labels.

In the proud homebrew tradition of repurposing items I would like to present these: TAGBOTTLE Bottle Neck Chalk Board Tags I suspect you could drill holes in the other edge and rotate them 90 degrees if your taps are spaced closer. I have never ordered from this place but they have lots of...

    Handy chart for cylinder fittings.

I haven't thought of a name for it but I have the slogan for the beer that is carbed with Phosgene. "After you try our beer, you will never drink a better beer." That's becase you will be dead.

    Handy chart for cylinder fittings.

I came across this. It has helped me out so I thought I would pass it on. It seems all most homebrewers will need to know from this chart is CO2 tanks have CGA 320 fittings while Nitrogen/ Nitrogen & Nitrogen and CO2 mix tanks (Beer Gas) usually have CGA 580 fittings. Who is to say that...

    NITRO!

BTW They make adaptors to use CO2 regulators with Beer Gas Bottles. You may be able to change the stem on your regulator. If you can get the old one off you would need one like this to change a CO2 regulator in to a Nitrogen mix regulator...

Anyone run nitrogen in their kegerator for any beer instead of Co2?

If anyone is using beer gas (75% nitrogen/ 25% CO2) to dispense beer that isn't a stout, or anything else I would like to hear the particulars. I bought a rig that was supposed to have "everything I would need" to dispense from kegs. I got jockey boxes with normal taps and Miller Lite handles...

Free first order up to $250 at https://www.gfsimpress.com/ custom printing.

Glad some of you have been able to take advantage of this. I have an order placed, have not gotten a ship date yet. If you get a chance, post some pics of your merch when it arrives. I had a hard time with the online designer. I had a fairly high resolution pic put it came up small on the labels...

They have changed the deal Now it is $100 for 2 Perlick 680SS faucets and the one tap handle. The 680 is a forward sealing faucet with creamer action when you push back on the tap. Circuit board look Kegerator

Very cool! I was going to say "Put a real LED display at the top" but you have it done. Still if you ever find a deal on a 2nd hand one, take it out of the case, mount it to the top and program it to scroll, flash and all that kind of stuff. I did a few boards in university and other than the...

Why is my auto-siphon f***ed up?

I have one I bought brand new I can't get to work right. I say that, I may just not know how they work. Mine won't work if you just casually give it a few pumps. You have to hammer away at it like a chimpanzee feverishly pleasuring himself. I don't think that's how they should work but since it...

    2.5 Gallon Keg System Recommendations

Thanks so much. I thought the manual return springs looked familiar. I remember this rig from the "show us your kegerator" thread. I was impressed how much you could fit in to a mini fridge & liked the return springs. I want to copy your return spring setup but will have to be careful setting...

    2.5 Gallon Keg System Recommendations

What did you use to connect the tap to the disconnect? As in who did you buy it from. There are a lot of them online but some say "won't work with Perlick flow control taps". I have a Perlick 690SS on the way want to run a rig like yours. I like the return spring as well. Are those tap handles...
