Kinda new to this electric brewery hung, so I'm just wondering, what are all the ssr's for, is tha a bcs rig, or your "standard" 1 2 or 3 pid panel build, I have 3 pid's but only 2 ssr's. I've seen a couple now that have 6 ssr's and can't figure out why there are so many! Please help me!!

I would really like to know the reason behind this, not to say one is better or you NEED to do this or that, just for my own sanity, when you get time please post your reasoning behind using relays instead of ssr's.

Don't know why it wouldn't work, hard wiring or plug in, it's still making contact right, a plug won't affect the gfci. Not an electrician, but I don't see the problem! Good call!!
