Yeah, Cellarmaker was great. Didn't get to stay as long as I would like but had "7 Wonders" and "Mocha and Cigarettes". Enjoyed both!

Thanks, jcav. The cabinet building part I didn't care for. Too many ways to go about it if you didn't know what you were doing. I got to work on the counter/bar front today. Hope to finish it, bar shelf and counter top cap tomorrow.

More pics. Have painted, started on bar/counter top and put a Craigslist find (couch) in the way of everything.... First pic should be of bar/countertop with angle iron for bar coming back into counter top for support. Other pics are of the stainless counter top (another CL find) and me...

Looks great, Harry. I'm very happy with the Valspar etching stain I used. While not a great picture you can get an idea of how it turned out here.

Steve, thanks for taking the time explain your setup using a couple of the Tramontinas and the noise they produce. As much as I like the setup you have and would like to do something similar, I think I'm going to hold off.

More progress... I think I sanded off half the mud that I put up. Anyway, that's done and have primer coat on. Should get final coat of paint on today.

I've read a few reviews on the Tramontinas being realtively loud. Would you agree? My concern is that if I were to use two of them they will be in a shared space for watching movies/sports and be loud enough to be annoying...

Darn you for making me second-guess myself even more, passedpawn. My last HERMs system was PID based, albeit cobbled together in a plastic tool box. It was about as simple (and probably unsafe) as you could get. A single PID, single relay, one outlet. I'd just shut off spa panel, unplug HLT...

Use to mountain bike quite a bit but haven't done that for a handful of years. I grew up duck hunting with my father and have started to get back into it on a shoestring budget. I'd love to have a decked out $15,000 duck boat, but those damn priorities.... Anyway, my current setup is below...

Tile is finally done (aside from clean-up)! As much as I want to start on the stainless countertop and bar, I'll most likely put in the new ceiling joists next.
