TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

Thanks! I'll use a plain ESP32 to try it out. Still selecting which one with a TFT that I want :) might go the Lilygo T-display.

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

Hey everyone! Sorry if this has been asked already, but I couldn't find anything in a thread search. I currently use BruControl on my PC to control my fermentation devices, and I use Node-RED to get/put info between BruControl, my main Node-RED server, my Supabase database, and Brewfather...

Mod to CF10 coil TC cap for BrewBuilt Uni+

Good questions. I do have the neoprene jacket, and the linked cooling jacket does fit. Just have to stuff it down there on the back side. I have one pump from MoreBeer and another I got from Amazon. They aren't high flow, but I wanted to slow down the flow to give the glycol more contact time...

Mod to CF10 coil TC cap for BrewBuilt Uni+

I bought it from here: Conical Cooling Jacket I didn't get any extras, just one per fermenter. I'm not sure how it does by itself with these fermenters, and I didn't test it with the CoolStix that came with the BrewBuilt, but it pairs well with the Spike cooling coil mod.

Mod to CF10 coil TC cap for BrewBuilt Uni+

Oh, at least you have access to that then. I like the Spike CF10 a tadbit more (it's obvious that the BrewBuilt is copied from the Spike CF series), but the BrewBuilt has been very reliable. Well made, easy to clean, and just pretty. As an another update, I added a cooling jacket around the...

Mod to CF10 coil TC cap for BrewBuilt Uni+

Oh yeah! I meant to come back with an update. No pressure issues at all. It holds 14 PSI steady at the end of fermentation. I ended up getting a Spike CF10 as well and did this again for that fermenter. I wanted to save my lid ports for other things. Pressure holds fine there as well. Just...

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

I have two normal ones that sit on top of my fermenters for Tilt readings. They have occasional drops but always reconnect. I haven't had one completely drop and not come back online. They don't control anything, just take Bluetooth readings. My keezer uses a Lilygo ESP32 relay module and same...

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

This is my only comp. And the router is consumer grade but on the higher end. The temporary drops aren't bothersome, just weird that the two RobotDyn ESP32 relay boards occasionally fail to come back up.

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

I've turned off all firewalls on my PC, and all my WiFi devices have reserved/static IPs. I do have occasional connection drops between my BC devices and PC that I do think is on my PC's end, so maybe that contributes to the issue of my fermenter devices completely dropping. I'll stick with my...

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

@BrunDog On my controller that doesn't have my aforementioned workaround solution yet, I just had a continued connection drop in BC, so I decided to see if that interface can be pinged (indicating if it locked up and can't handle those requests). I am fully able to ping the "dropped" interface...

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

(Edit for anyone new to BC and reading this: this isn't an issue related to the BC software or firmware; it's an issue due to my setup and the external hardware. BC is fantastic and reliable; I just tinker a lot and like to learn new things.) I have made a workaround to this issue. Recognizing...

I have my cooling and heating hysteresis elements on a graph. Both are manually set to 0 for Min and 1 for Max. Your values otherwise look like mine.

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

I'll add that I've left my heat wraps off since the room temp did a good job bring up the wort temp, so the only other electronic device is the 12v spunding valve solenoids, but I didn't see a correlation with it. I even had this happen when I reached final attenuation and there was no more CO2...

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

Seemingly when it kicks on. I'm assuming this because the last drops I've had always occured at the peak of my upper temp offset. Doesn't seem to happen at other points along the temp graph. The point at which the pump would kick on is the only pattern. Interestingly though, I haven't had it...

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

I believe my issue is power related, though I can't find what the actual issue is given the capacitors and such that are part of the 110v to 5v/3.3v stepdowns. And it seems tied to when the pump kicks on, but I wouldn't expect it to cause much of a power drop.. possibly a spike though. I plan...

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

Oh! @Hannabrew try the above. I forgot that @oakbarn had an issue with devices a few weeks ago and this seemed to be the fix.
