Hey Revco.....thanks for the mockup as that is way closer as to what I had in mind and much more accessible.....the only difference in my minds eye view was I was thinking of the size of the milk crates you see everywhere which would hold about a dozen or less bottles and be build on the bottles...

OK, I know I'm not the only person who makes beer and bottle conditions it and/or makes wine....so that means being able to lay the bottles on their side..... so how do you design these awesome crates to lay on their side and keep the bottles from falling out and at the same time save my back so...

Thanks for the reply moscoeb....was thinking about just tilting the crate 90 degrees and being able to just place bottles in on their side but have them tilted up a bit so they wouldn't fall out .....somehow reworking the crate so that they would be stackable on their side....doesn't seem like...

These post, replies, variations etc. have all been really very inspiring....just read the whole thing.....the one comment I find interesting is that no one has posted any plans that give you access from the side if you have your beers stacked to the ceiling and you want one of those you made 6...

This is really a great blot and thanks for all the awesome details....one think in addition to beer crates is the fact that I need something similar for wine that could be stackable and on a slight tilt and place then in from the side rather that the top.....not much of a carpenter here but...

Yeah I had the same thing happen to me but IO was able to just solder it back in place and it was ok....the problem I've had with mine is I've tried several different wiring examples posted throughout the forums here and none seem to work in that my relays never turn on even though I can hear...

Thanks all for the replies about your choice of heat but rather than a style that you would place into your glycol or water I guess I incorrectly assumed you would use something wrapped around the conical part in some fashion...maybe under some insulation and have the copper coil placed higher...

Anyone have any heating solutions they would highly recommend from having used them...thanks

Any ideas on how taxing it would be on the system to chill the beer out of the BK and/or if it would be wise to upgrade the glycol tank a bit to not overtax the AC??? What's your take....thanks

Great DIY and have a question about what you consider you max temp to be...reason I ask is I do some saisons and they require higher temps and am thinking of doing a separate tank with a heater for that purpose as I don't see anyway to incorporate a heater into this neat setup...probably...
