Agreed. I occasionally bottle stuff from my kegs using a bottle filler hooked to a faucet. I have 8-10ft 3/16 lines in the kegerator. I found using 10ft of 3/16 between the faucet adapter and the bottle filler gives me very good fills with no loss of carbonation.

All the kit I have ever bought from SSB has an instruction sheet which tells you to clean it using detergent and then passivate with acid before you use it the first time. That's not unique to SSB either, it goes for pretty much anything stainless

The spike system is all soft pluming and a buy it from amazon work table. The SSB system is all hard plumbed with triclamp fittings so it's gonna be a lot more expensive for all that sanitary steel

The acidic beer strips the anodised layer off the metal

Took some samples out to my local homebrew store.

Had to vacuum about a gallon of NEIPA out of the bottom of the kegerator due to a not quite tight enough liquid post :(
