    But I don't wanna...

Preciate it. I'll give the ole PBW a try since I have it already. It may be a bit pricey just to take off labels but next time I won't let myself get this backed up.

    But I don't wanna...

Would Powdered Brewery Wash have the desired effect?

    But I don't wanna...

So, I have found myself ready to start my next batch of beer, a pumpkin ale. As I took inventory of my supplies I came to the realization that I have let myself get lazy in regards to cleaning labels off bottles as I buy them. It would be an understatement to say that I have quite a few. I...

    Carboy stopper

    Carboy Bung vs Stopper

I'm new to the home brewing world and I'm still acquiring my equipment. Is there a big difference between using an universal Carboy bung and using a stopper?

    Carbonation

Cool. That's what I figured. From what I have read, it seems that with high gravity brews patience is more important than ever. Thanks for the feedback. First time using this site.

    Carbonation

I recently bottled my first attempt at a high gravity beer , a Belgian dark. It's been a week so I opened one for a carbonation test. Not too much going on, there was a slight hint of carbonation but not much. Am I just not being patient enough? Any thoughts?
