You have some starsan in the bottom the bucket that you have your blow off tube going into right? You want to make sure it is completely submerged to keep baddies going up your blow off tube and into your carboy.

I love milk stouts, and am lactose intolerant, that is why god created "lactaid". Just pop one of those for every beer you drink.

We have never had a problem with the bottle conditioning, but the hop utilization is low. We brew at 8,000 ft and did notice a pretty dramatic loss of aroma and bitterness. To alleviate that we have changed all of our boil times to 90 minutes instead of 60, and add about 20% more hops to all of...

IPA's don't age well, the fresher the better, although I would think that 3 weeks shouldn't be long enough to start losing the hop aroma.

Just checking, but you do know that Blue Moon and Shock Top are BMC? You obviously like them so it really don't matter. Just thought I would put it out there. AHS seems to ship quick, and is of high quality, never had a problem with any of their recipes.

I wish we only had 2ft of snow to deal with.
