    First Taste

Well.I had my first taste of my first batch of beer.:mug:It is a Bud style lager and I couldn't be happier. No real aftertaste, tastes a little more Blue Moonish, got a little hint of orange but it is probably just a little on the hoppy side.Gonna go have another one.

    Getting back into baseball

Go for it! Ive been playing baseball in a mens league here for over 20 years, and I have no intention of stopping.I still like to teach the college kids a lesson or two,and the friendships I have made will last a lifetime. Good luck, stay healthy.

    Normal?

Curious if it is normal to have no sign of bubbling through the airlock after putting brew in carboy for secondary fermentation. It has been in since Sunday. Thanks

    Rookie Question

I have my first brew in primary fermentation for two weeks. It appears that fermentaion has drastically slowed or stopped. It is a lager and I am not going to use a secondary fermentation. It cant be time to bottle yet,so is there anything I can do to regenerate fermentation?

    Newbie has a couple questions.

Thanks guys.I was trying to follow directions for the kit,but it seems I may be better off just leaving it in the primary.I should mention I am brewing a lager and it has been in a warmer temperature for about 5 days.At what point is it suggested to introduce a cooler temp?

    Newbie has a couple questions.

Hey all,I am brewing my first batch and it is in primary fermentation stage for about a week. When transferring to secondary fermentation(carboy)does this need to be siphoned out leaving the gunk on the bottom?Or can it be poured directly into the carboy?Thats all I have for now,any help is...
