STC 1000 "Ebay" Temperature Controller Build

It has crossed my mind to just have them run continuously, however, I want to minimize wear on the fans as much as a I can. I suppose if they die it would be easy enough to pop new ones in. Cheers!

    ebay aquarium temp controller build

I am going to build two controllers for a fermentation chamber build I am about to undertake. Has anyone wired in computer fans to the controller such that the fan will turn on when either the cool or heat receptacle is powered on. Essentially I want the fan to run while temp controls are...

Converting the Frigidaire 7.2 cu ft Chest Freezer

I too have run into this problem. I've just come to accept it. I clean it out with bleach every few months buy never get it back to its original state. I think it may be rust forming from condensation inside. I also have an eva-dry and some damp rid containers. It doesn't affect the beer though...

Mounting my drip tray to keezer

I used some heavy-duty, double sided adhesive tape on my drip tray (also 14"). It works really well, the only downside is that I cannot easily take the drip tray off. I just clean it up with a sponge as needed. The tape only cost about 2 bucks at the hardware store.

Glad to know there is a competent welder in the area for brewing projects. Would you mind posting some more details about what you had done...

Converting the Frigidaire 7.2 cu ft Chest Freezer

You and your girlfriend will probably be able to manage. The weight isn't too bad, it is quite bulky obviously. I had to move it up some stairs, but had my beast of a brother around to help. Good luck!

Not sure about the pin locks, but fairly confident that you will be able to fit 5 in there if you so desire. If you build a collar, and have the CO2 tank mounted outside of the freezer, there should be plenty of room for the kegs. I have three ball locks on the floor, but there is room to spare...

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good source to get small railing to put along the perimeter of the top of my keezer? Looking to add it to three sides (left, right, and back), and then put some bar mats on top of the lid to stack glassware. My searching has led me to foot rails and arm...
