Looking to do a black cherry soda and then keg it to dispense on my kegerator...

Yes, currently I have a dual tap kegerator with a taprite 2 product 2 pressure regulator so I am able to have each tap at different pressures. That was one of the upgrades I requested when purchasing the kegerator.

Looking to do a black cherry soda and then keg it to dispense on my kegerator...

So I am thinking it may be fun over the holiday break to make some black cherry soda with the family and dispense on our kegerator. My kids are in a STEM school and love science and are intrigued with the beer brewing process but they dont sample it for obvious reasons. I brew extract beer now...

Komos V2 Kegerator, compressor not coming on, it is making the clicking noise but is not coming on

@OakIslandBrewery I have had 2 corny kegs a 1/4 barrel slim and my 5lb Co2 tank in the Komos at the same time with the door shut. If i were to do it all over again, I would go with slim torpedo 5 gallon kegs as you can fit 4 in the kegerator with a 5lb Co2 tank!

Komos V2 Kegerator, compressor not coming on, it is making the clicking noise but is not coming on

from top of keg to top of the inside space is 3.5", I use standard grey and black ball locks on my cornys and have no issues. I use a sankey with a ball lock adapter and it gets tight at the top. In all of my reearch the Komos v2 is elite among the others, your talking about a company that...

    Nukatap Faucets

I am curious @gohoos85 , so your liquid line is NOW 11'? See I was wondering about extending them. From the Komos kegerator they give you 5.5' standard for each tap, I assumed that was gospel with EVA Barrier so I have my Light Lager pouring at 12PSI. SO if I am reading it correctly, you did...

    Nukatap Faucets

Depends how you have it setup, if your lines are inside your keezer and you open up the top to grab the picnic tap and pour and put them back then you wouldn't have foaming issues. The issue with taps in general are the tap portion being at room ambient temperature, lets say 70 degrees in your...

Looking for forward sealing stainless steel faucet and shank

I am hoping to reduce the first pour foam and based on the way these Nukas are designed it may help, I will know more by the weekend if I am changing over but shoot me an offer.

    Nukatap Faucets

sounds like I have first world problems then? Utilizing Eva Barrier 5' lines on each tap, first beer off gets a finger of "extra" head on the first pour typically, then if I pour again off that spout within an hour it happens again and I am using a tower cooling fan...

    Nukatap Faucets

any follow up from anyone else on this? I have intertaps that are a month old. I get the first beer head pour but I have a unique option to upgrade to Nukataps at no cost and was looking for reviews on it.

Looking for forward sealing stainless steel faucet and shank

Brand new or used for a month? I have 2 intertap SS forward sealing faucets with Shanks from my Komos as I may be upgrading from a 2 tap tower to a 3 tap tower with nuka taps. Thoughts?

Komos V2 Kegerator, compressor not coming on, it is making the clicking noise but is not coming on

Hey, just got a replacement kegerator as the last Komos made a ton of noise. The new one did not make the weird noises the last did, i swapped the tower and everything over and it worked great for a few days and then the compressor started making a high pitched noise and I looked at the...

Taking a 5 gallon extract or partial mash kit and then splitting it into 2 separate fermentors, any issues?

So I have a friend that has 2 brew demon fermentation tanks and has only brewed 1 and 2 gallon kits. He does not have any way to ferment the full 5 gallon batch, is their a way to make the wort, cool the wort and split it into the two vessels. Then I was thinking he would split the yeast and...

Brewers Best Holiday ale and Whirfloc Tablets or gelatin

I'm actually picking up the kit tomorrow as I was hoping to see if I needed to grab the Whirfloc Tablets at the same time so i do not know what type of yeast is in the kit. I assumed that the "spice kit" <orange peel, cinnamon, cardamom and other spices> was added in to the secondary to sit in...

    Extract brands - favorites?

I feel like I lost 20 minutes of my life I will never get back, the questions seemed simple: Extract brands - favorites? So I too have asked this question with various answers and none of which I helped me out, so i will answer and not help you either... I live in Northeast Ohio, I have found...

Brewers Best Holiday ale and Whirfloc Tablets or gelatin

Looking to brew the Holiday ale and haven't used Whirfloc Tablets which were offered to me when checking out. I have used gelatin when kegging but wondered if I should do either or both with this kit? Anyone tried this kit? I am looking to brew it this weekend, give it 10 days in the primary...
