    Soak them on hot water. Partialy empty them and shake the crap out of them to dislodge the funk. Then save for later.

    Air leak or fluid leak. If air no problem because the co2 produced by the ferment will keep the o2 out. If fuid then no problem because the water pressure will keep out the nastys. The oly problem i can think of is if the hole has nastys in it that were not killed in your sanitizing step...

    Do you have a hop bag? The pellets would best be contained in a hop bag. If you add them directly to the pot they will make a bunch of sludge at the bottom of your primary. That is not so bad though for you first brew. Dont worry about being too hoppy, you would like some bitterness in that...

    Also I have been told that you should not use rootbeer occupied cornys because the flavor never goes away. I would only buy ones that are pressurised to prove that they have no leaks or defects.

    Anyone Familiar with "Beer Clean Sanitizer"?

    Looks like it would be fine, however im not sure w/ that ppm that it qualifies as a no rinse sanitiser. I would use it but i think you can get the same result cheaper with household bleach. Remember if you use bleach rinse well with tap water.
