    Regulator Question

Dissasemble your setup and put teflon thread tape on all threaded connections, if you did not in the first place.

    Regulator Question

I personally think you are worried about nothing, but if you have found no leaks maybe it is normal.

    Oxy/Acetylene regulators for homebrew

    1. Use ay parts you want as long as they are clean and match the thread pitch. 2. Depends on what style you have in your keg. I have mine at 5-10 pound for dispensing. Carbing is a diffrent story, do a serch on these forums for "force carbination". 3. If you have access to the supplys get a...

    Yellow stains in primary fermenter?

Amen! Preach it pastor! Switch to glass at some point and you will be happy. You can see the fermentation taking place, you can see the yeast and trub settling out and they last alot longer than buckets (unless you drop them).

Homebrew hangovers worse than with BMC?

I agree and would like to add that steam beers and some poorly pitched home brews have fussel alch. in them. They also contribute to hangovers. I got a nasty one the other day from bells oberwan and the one before that was Anchor steam. Both of those hurt bad!!!

    One last checklist

Y ou gave these 2 steps at the beginning: 2. Wash all components and sanitize all components with iodophor 3. Rinse inside of keg (with sterilized water) and reassemble There is no need to rinse if you have used idophor at the correct dilution.

    Tap A Draft Help

Not familiar with that system. Could you post a link to the manufacturer? But logic says if you hear a gas leak then there is one. I dont think the beer is absorbing the co2 because you are not complaning of over carbed beer. There must be a leak. Can you insert a new cartridge activate it and...

    Burner project

That is sweet! Let's see pics of it fired up! You might want to consider re designing and making a shutter system on the bottom of the large pipes so you can control air input.

Pics of my first attempt at brewing.

It looks like the cable on your thermo. is plstic coated but you should still not immerse the whole thing in the wort. There are countless members here that have ruined thier probes by getting the backside wet. Welcome to the party. Since you are new that means you are supplying the beer. Get...

    Raspberry IRS

Also if you are a beginning brewer realise that this recipie will require a huge starter, a intense aeration session with an o2 clyinder and a good amount of aging. I think i would try this recipe but cut it in 1/2 maybe.

    Ventmatic (or any) faucet cleaning

Gentle on the o-rings when you clean them and lube them up well with a food grade lube.

How do you store your dispensing end of your keg?

Do you mean the plastic "cobra" faucet that you pay a deposit on for 1/2 barrel kegs? If so then do nothing now but at some point down the road you need to clean the lines and tap or it will start growing some fonky bact. and fungus which will off flavor your beer and make the faucet stick.
