I’ll soon be getting a RO system of some sort as my water is horrendous. What are some good places to start reading up on things I should (minimally) know before I start. I won’t be brewing for at least a couple of months. I’m open for schooling as long as its simple like me. TIA Tom

I hear… Anvil Foundry works great! The lid already has a hole in it. Use what you have. You can make it work!

I’m about ready to order a Ward’s water test. They have lots of add on tests. I have a well, is there any of the options I should go with also? Thanks

You could get some 1” pvc pipe and jam it in the bottom, to see what comes up in the pipe… you could probably reuse it too.

Dude. You should try living in West Texas. I just moved and I don’t think they know what home brew is! No home brew store for 5 hours. Oh well, I’m remodeling my house so not the end of the world, but I am missing my own brew.

I moved from Alaska to west Texas. I had options in Alaska... drive 2.5 hours to Anchorage. Shout out to Arctic Brewing. Or a very small shop 10 minutes in Soldotna. now in Texas it is looking like drive to Dallas, 5 hours or Austin. Dang, looks like on line for me. West Texas... flat, dry...
