I have a 2 cooler with keggle set up. I got an Anvil 10.5. I love it! I’d love to get the newer one for 10 gallon batches… my wife doesn’t know I have the 10.5, so I should pursue the big boy! Then I can say, oh that little old thing I’ve had hanging in the back of my brew closet???

If it were me… I’d distill it. That’s what happens when wine doesn’t behave.

Still. I mean give it to to me… I mean someone who would thin it then condense it.

I’ve seen opaque pex turn funky colors. That was due to the funky water flowing in it though. Cheers

I’d be tempted to go with a steam condenser. It depends on a variety of things. How expensive is water? What and where will plumbing be? And now, people who know what they are talking about can jump in. 🤪

I got the Anvil 10.5. It does 5 gallon batches fine. Sometimes I like doing 10 gallon batches. For them I have to fire up my old propane setup. It has a 15 gallon keggle. That’s barely big enough. I wish now I would have waited for the Anvil 18… oh well, I make it work. Cheers

BuckEye Hydro has a test. It’s a bit more $, but in my case… well (pun intended) worth it. I’m still waiting on a call back from 3 local well drillers, as my water is so bad. Russ is a great guy.

I recently moved to west Texas. No brew stores for millions of miles… I’m going to my son’s house for thanksgiving. I’ll pick up supplies in Kansa City.

I will be giving Russ a call this week. I’m giving my cats bottled water. I’m in the process of rebuilding my house. The new roof (trusses) and sheeting will be up by the end of the week. I’m hoping to be in by the end of the year. I plan on getting another water test from Russ to compare it...

This is my numbers. It doesn’t taste bad… like I said, I’m just an old knucklehead looking to get back into brewing after my move. My old well had great water. Here, from what I’m told, not good.
