If it has added chemicals... I could not get fermentation even though i bought it from a Apple orchard.. I had to ask for clean chemicals free which is no preservatives.If you did get chem free and it has . completely fermented...freeze distilling.. dump in ss kettle and freeze..pick out ice...

I agree with you about it costs extra to buy mash tun and Beer Troll agrees with you about leaving unattended. I just turn off the pumps or control box

I was where you. Are .. there is alot of info . In the meantime just go with what you want and what your budget allows.Unless you want to upgrade,then keep on reading. It took me six months to figure out that I could just use my kegs .. and the how. I settled on the kegmenter. Because 4 tc top...
