    when do you brew?

Being a firefighter I usually brew during the week days. I get off of shift head home for some breakfast and get started. The kids are at school and wife at work. No interruptions and I'm done by the time the kids get off the bus!!

    Best iPhone Brewing Software?

I use Ibrewmaster and really like it. Has great timers for the mash and boil additions. Plus keeps track of all your batches. It'll send you a text when it's time for secondary, lager, bottle/keg or serve. Added bonus is a searchable database for recipes you can add to or download.

Mr B, first batch, add more yeast?

With mrb sometimes you see a bunch of activity and some times hardly any. Look at the bottom of the keg. If you see a whitish layer then your yeast are working. Leave your brew in the keg for 3 weeks. Then bottle and let sit for minimum of 2 weeks. Cheers

30 foot chiller with pre chiller enough for my situation?

That would work great. I have a 30' 1/4" copper immersion chiller. I changed to fittings on a small jockey box to use as a prechiller. I can swap from prechiller to jockey box in no time.
