Pressures. Can i use 80-90 psi to push soda?

On a different thread, one of the posters used 1/8 line to reduce the flow rate from his carbonator setup. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f95/carbonator-installed-261089/ I plan to copy his carbonated water setup. I figured that if 1/8" line works for the carbonator at 80 psi, then maybe I...

Pressures. Can i use 80-90 psi to push soda?

My understanding is that Firestone and corny kegs are rated for 130 psi service pressure, so 80-90 should be no problem. Is there a problem with pushing soda at that pressure?

Pressures. Can i use 80-90 psi to push soda?

I have a McCann's carbonator pump system and was thinking of having seltzer water and soda's on tap. Can I push the sodas at the same pressure as my carbonator pump? Thanks

    Super keezer collar

Yeah, I am thinking that the effort and cost of building a custom box may end up greater than the upfront cost of buying a larger freezer. My thought was that I would use a fan to circulate air. Also, I would be running the freezer at a much higher temperature than a deep freeze is designed to...

    Super keezer collar

I have an idea. I have been scouring CL for used chest freezers and have made a deal to buy one for $50 only to hear from the seller that they think it died before I could pick it up. That got me thinking that buying a used freezer, then spending a ton of effort on customizing it, only to have...

Where did you get a 1/8" tail piece or MFL fitting? Or did you use something else? I am hoping to use MFL fittings on the line so I can swap it out easily.

1/8" soda fittings, where to get them?

Yeah, I ran into the same thing. I am hoping that someone who has done this can tell me where to get them.

1/8" soda fittings, where to get them?

Guys, I appreciate the feedback, but I am only interested in using a ss tap. I know some people here run 1/8" line for soda. The fittings they use are what I am asking about. Please let me know if you know where to get them. Thanks

1/8" soda fittings, where to get them?

I have heard that I need all stainless for soda. I have also heard that I should run 1/8th hose to the faucets. Does any know where I can get stainless MFL fittings? This is my preference. If I can't find MFL fittings, what does everyone else use? Thanks

Serving Soda versus Beer CO2 PSI?

You could try to run 1/8th inch hose. I am not sure of how many feet of 1/8th inch you would need. It would be a lot less. I am sure someone here would know. Also, I am not sure where to get stainless mfl fittings. Good luck.

    Regulator location?

So, why is it that several people have told me it is better to have the tank and regulator in the fridge and that having them outside will lead to more foam? I just assumed that the pressure changed with temperature and that inside was more stable. Thanks in advance for clarifying this for me.

    Regulator location?

I think i can get a hp hose made for relatively cheap. I know the store bought ones are around $50. What is the problem that people have when the tank is not in the freezer? I thought it was that the regulators changed their outputs with temperature changes. Am I wrong? If there are no...

    Regulator location?

I plan to build a keezer for use outside. In the TX heat, how bad would it be to put the co2 bottle outside in the shade and run a remote regulator in the keezer. My thought is that the regulator may change the output pressure if the regulator changes temperature. But, if the tank gets hot...

2" foam for keezer, where to buy?

I am doing a long duct to a coffin. That is why I need more than usual. For some reason I remember HD either not having 2" or it was stupid expensive. I will look again. Thanks for the help.

    Bon permanent seal for collar?

What is everyone using to seal a wood and 2" foam collar? I am looking for a non- permanent installation so I can swap freezers if mine craps out one day. Keezer is going outside, so I need a good seal. Thanks

2" foam for keezer, where to buy?

Where does everyone buy their 2" thick foam for keezer collars? Best price, easiest to get? I am going to need a bunch.

    Carbonator Installed.

Got it. Thanks. You can buy new pressure relief valves. Aren't the corny kegs rated for 130 psi or more?
