    If that's the case probably this weekend, by then it will have been a little over 3 weeks in the fermentor, plus then it opens it up to start on my holiday ale! Thanks again for everyone's help

    ok, so the gravity now is 1.011, which according to Midwest supplies means it should be done fermenting. I tasted it and it tasted normal (like my other beers at this stage). so I guess my question is, can it ferment without any krausen? There's no ring around my carboy like previous times.

    The original gravity should be 1.042-1.048. I made the pumpkin beer kit from Midwest Supply, and the only changes I made was added 60oz of pumpkin (recipe called for 30) and some extra spices

    Better question, should I go get a hydrometer tomorrow, measure the gravity then return for help after that?

    You're going to have fun flaming me for this one... I didn't buy a brewing kit, just got a kettle and a carboy and the stuff I need for bottling. So I didn't take a gravity reading. Still not even sure what the gravity tells you.

    Hey guys, So I'm fairly new, this is only my 3rd batch, and I love pumpkin beer, so I made a batch for nov/thanksgiving. The problem is after about 2weeks + of being in the fermentor, I still haven't seen any bubbling or foam (I have a glass carboy as my primary) . I called my local brew...
