    I guess i will go with the US Golding according to the Hops reference chart. The recipes i am looking at is Jamis ESB, Robust Porter, Southern English Brown Ale and other recipes in his book.

    that does sound like a good idea, the directions say to use the 1 ounce of cascade either at the 2 min mark or as Dry Hop. I think i will throw .5 oz in at 2 min and save the other .5 oz for dry hopping. thanks for the advice.

    I have done extract batches in the past but not with full boils. I plan on boiling at least 5.5 gallons and then top up if needed. My system usually boils off a gallon per hour i just don't want to overshoot. My recipe is for a sierra navada clone. Should i adjust my hop amounts? recipe below...

    I just tapped my first keg in this exact fridge, looks like a great idea to drill hole and run co2 line to the outside since the fridge does get a little tight with all the hoses. What size hole did you drill for the co2 line?

    I have brewed this recipe twice and love it, Has anyone done a 10 gallon batch on this. I have all my equipment to step up to 10 gallons now. I'm figuring that i would double everything( grains, Orange zest, coriander) but what about the hops can someone help me out? Do i just double the hops...

    Crystal 40L vs 10L need more body please help!

    The first batch i made had almost a perfume taste the hops were so strong is that from the 2 ounce dry hop? I did the recipe to a T. So this time around i was going to try Crystal 40L and made only dry hop with 1 ounce cascade.

    Brewing up the Cascade Orange pale ale recipe for the second time, would using Crystal 40L instead of Crystal 10L give it more body or just a darker color. any insight would be great. i am looking to give it a little bit more body.

    First partial Mash with Full Boil HELP PLEASE

    Should have a wort chiller by tomorrow. How much of a difference would a 3rd of an ounce make. I don't have a way to measure the hops out yet, so i guess i will just guess. How much of a difference would it make to add the full ounce instead of 2/3 of the ounce of hops.
