So for anyone that isn't here yet, management was nice enough to give us the room on the right hand side when you first come in. We'll most likely be the only people in there.

So it looks like we'll have about 6 or 7 people meeting up this Tuesday. It's a much better start than I originally expected. I'll see everyone on Tuesday night. I'll probably hang out outside until a few people get there and it should be pretty easy to find the table of people talking about...

The thing that gets me is when you nicely try to explain something to someone and they just won't accept it. This kid (around my age?) overheard me order a SNPA and goes "Sierra Nevada? Nice. I love IPAs." I said me too but this is a pale ale, not an IPA and he goes "yeah, that's what I said...

Should be 5 or 6 including myself.

Also, if you have friends that are interested, even if they haven't brewed yet, bring them along. Maybe we can all help demystify the process for them.

So how does Tuesday, February 12th @ Tipperary Pub in Lakehurst sound for everyone interested (weather permitting)? We can meet there around 7:30pm and talk about what we all expect and maybe even set up a club brew day for March/April? Let me know. -Joe I should also mention, on Tuesdays they...

Yeah, it's a pretty good place. SWMBO likes the Corned Beef Eggrolls and the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Pretty good burgers, too. They usually have a Carton and a Kane on tap. I know Kane's Morning Bell just went on tap there the other night. I had a stout that I can't remember the name of right...

That would be awesome. I had to go up to BA and they forgot to give me priming sugar. Last time they forgot my yeast :mad:

In Ocean County, I go to Surf Taco in Jackson and the Tipperary Pub in Lakehurst. Tipperary has a pretty good selection of local and craft beer, plus their whiskey selection is amazing. Pretty good food and good prices at both IMO.
