    That's great The one gallon batches seemed a lot of hard work for not much. I can live with 2.5 gallons. I only have an electric stove at the moment and figure doing 5 gallons maybe a pain with such a puny heat source. Thanks for the help! It really helped out.

    ah thanks for the reply, I never thought of the weight. I think your right it's best to just buy one in that case, buy the time I've drilled the holes, and bought all the other required pieces, I may of saved a little money but end up with something inferior. Thanks though
