How has your Brewery grown in 2010

hmm.. I'll go! I went from this: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f19/welp-im-out-business-112710/ to this: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/deep-six-brewery-back-action-164889/

    Sierra Nevada Torpedo

I have their Celebration Ale on tap, which will be replaced with Torpedo once we finish up the Celebration Ale. I honestly like Torpedo better, but couldn't pass up the keg of Celebration.. both are great examples of American IPAs.

Deep Six Brewery - back in action!

Thanks for all your ideas.. I'm more leaning towards just a cool blackboard and having a friend write all the beers real fancy on it for me. I worked on the kegenator (kegerator just doesn't do it justice really) today. put two fans on the base of the tap tower.. one pushing, one pulling...

OMG! Why? Now this is exactly what I have to flipping do!!

Deep Six Brewery - back in action!

Thanks for the ideas.. keep them coming! The other half of the problem/equation is that the real tap handles are so tall, they are going to really block the TV. And I agree that all 12 being the exact same would not only be boring, but would be maddening to someone as anal as I am as I could...

Deep Six Brewery - back in action!

So does anyone have any good ideas on a way to display all the beers I currently have on tap? I'm thinking about a chalkboard or something similar.. needs to be about 18"x36"~42". Anyone know of any cool looking ones pre-made for sale? I've googled it but am not coming up with anything I...

    The Weber Fermentation Chamber

Sigh.. I miss mine- a lot! But I'm about to build a new one and it will be very similar to what you've come up with, except it will be outside, under a lean-to as I've run out of room in my brewery. I'm glad to see that the secondary chamber works like I originally imagined powered by another...

    Computer assisted control panel?

I'm guessing you've seen my setup? Look in my sig if not.. While it isn't fully automatic, it is pretty close- which I get you don't want to take away from your process. As discussed in the thread, I went this route primarily for repeatability, but also because I'm a computer programmer by...

Deep Six Brewery - back in action!

Yeah.. that's what I'm learning about them. Maybe I'll just put Apfelwein on tap and call it a day. :)

Well, I haven't researched the cider I'm going to put on tap too much.. that was just what I read made the traditional Snakebite? I had one today made from Guinness and Woodchuck that seemed to work..

We were at Oskar Blues in May and I drank 3 Gubnas for lunch before I learned their alcohol content.. nearly bowled me over. But as a compliment to Gubna, I didn't have a clue while drinking it that it was 10% ABV..

Deep Six Brewery - back in action!

Well, I got taps 2, 3 ,4, & 10 up and running today.. was quite nice to have a pint after all this hard work. I'd take more photos but the bar is still a wreck. I have two more kegs coming in on Monday- Dale's Pale Ale and Bell's Two Hearted Ale. I am also picking up a keg of Yuengling's Bock...

OK, back on track.. I got all the CO2 distribution wrapped up yesterday. For now, to cut a little costs, there is only a single pressure.

I would like to start doing Apfelwine again.. but the main reason for the Strongbow is to make 'Snakebites' - think Black and Tan with Cider. I don't know if Apfelwine would mix the same?

Deep Six Brewery - back in action!

Yeah.. everything is in 1/5 barrels except the Celebration Ale in a 1/2 barrel- I'll jump it into 3 Corneys..

Deep Six Brewery - back in action!

Sweetwater 420 will replace the Celebration Ale once it runs out.. My buddy owns the Bud distributor here in town and is the main reason for 10, 11, & 12.. but I might limit it to Yuengling Light for the longrun. Bud Light can go in the beer fridge. And then someday, I'll finally get back...

Deep Six Brewery - back in action!

Beer should be flowing as of this Thursday.. I hope. I finally have the tap list finalized. Like I said earlier, for now it is all commercial. What do you think? 1) Dogfish Head 90 min IIPA 2) Bells Two Hearted Ale 3) Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale 4) Sierra Nevada Pale Ale 5)...
