Deep Six Brewing System - v2.0

Pre-cleaning the boil kettle and plate chiller. You can see my hop strainer in the background.. it won't be used for this brew. Also, my two fermentation cabinets are on the right. Also, you can see my makeshift repairs due to a slight leak on the outtake of the recirculating coil on the HLT.. :)

Deep Six Brewing System - v2.0

Well, I wrote the software, so no cost there - just time.. I used a LabJack U3 for the interface and I believe the 5 relays were purchased off eBay. The two keggles were purchased off eBay from a vendor whom I'm not sure is even still around - they were custom designed to my specs. The rest...

Deep Six Brewing System - v2.0

I have done some work to the system since it was last shown, primarily with completing the menus, etc. I am also now very involved with microprocessors, such as the Arduino, BeagleBone, etc. I still think doing this project with a LabJack and a windows PC gave me the best results. I will post...

Deep Six Brewing System - v2.0

Hmm.. apologies for not checking this thread. Seems there is still interest in it. I haven't really kept up with other people's advancements but figured mine was old news by now. :) I am brewing a simple Pale Ale this afternoon.. will upload a lot of photos during the process to show it all...

    DIY Walk In Cooler Build

This looks really good.. much more thought out than the one I built a few years back (https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/my-latest-project-walk-cooler-11440/). Hit me up if you have any questions, but it looks like you have it pretty well thought through. The only thing I will warn you about is...

My Latest Project - Walk-in Cooler

Sorry- just saw this. No, I still haven't build a new one but damn sure need one.. Perhaps I can come up with something this year. Have been thinking about a standalone design made out of cinder blocks insulated on the inside somehow..

Deep Six Brewery - back in action!

Here is a picture from the day prior of me standing on top of the firepit.. I'd say it went 18"-24" higher before cresting. And yeah, that is a pretty close color of this nasty ass, sewage infected water.. :-/

Deep Six Brewery - back in action!

I know I haven't been around much lately- been more of a lurker than anything else- but thought I'd show you guys how Deep Six almost turned literal two weeks ago. The water stopped ~2" below the floor line. And yeah, the bar had been evacuated prior to the water rising.. So this is two...

    Deep Six needs *your* help!

That sounds awesome.. I appreciate it everyone! Covering my ceiling is definitely a slow process but will totally be worth it in the end.. Reminder that I'll pay anyone back (plus stamp) through PayPal if you just put your email and instructions in with the dollar!
