Deep Six Brewery - back in action!

I'm pretty happy with the tap markers.. most are shorter versions that I've been able to find. Finally found a 90 min IPA Dogfish head tap marker but it isn't here yet.. also have a Dale's Pale Ale marker on the way.. And no holes in one, but I did chip one in from around 150 yards last night!

Hey Everybody - Look at my new Boil Kettle!

Well.. first, this happened: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f19/welp-im-out-business-112710/ Then, I found these to use instead: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/deep-six-brewing-system-v3-0-a-128540/ And then, I decided to work on the brewery / brew pub (which is what I'm wrapping up...

transferring beer from commercial keg to corny keg

I find using the high pressure release valve to not be very controllable and too much co2 gets knocked out of suspension.. I prefer to use the controllable relief valve I bought from more beer to move the beer as slowly as possible.

Found some old beer in kegs.. opinions needed

OK.. that was a 'fun' little experiment.. they all 3 tasted like malty a$$ with a little slickness on the tongue. Oh well!

Found some old beer in kegs.. opinions needed

So I went over to my parents house to get some more corney kegs out of their storage shed that ended up over there after the flood.. 4 of them were full. I poured one of them out and there was *nothing* wrong with it that I could observe or taste. There is one that says Lager, another that is...

Deep Six Brewery - back in action!

Heh.. I could say the same thing about other member's builds. :-) It's all relative and I'm sure the beer you pour from yours will be just as tasty as mine! We made some progress last night and got the TV hung, the soundbar under it is still just sitting there, that will come next. You can...

Show of hands: Who doesn't want to go into commercial brewing?

I still have aspirations, but it is more about building a brand than anything else.. For now, I will gladly settle for my own personal brew pub / brewery I've built in my backyard. :-)
